Coming from a small town in California, Karen turned her life around to perfect her makeup artistry skills. She attended and graduated from L Makeup Institute as a Professional Makeup Artist. Karen is proud of all her work in beauty, hairstyling, airbrush, body painting, and special effects.

Her passion for makeup blossomed throughout high school; she knew she wanted to take all her artistic ideas and bring them to life. She believes makeup is a way of self expression, whether it's a natural look, a full glam, or something more funky and fun like avant-garde; she believes it shows a persons personality and gives one more confidence making them feel beautiful inside and out.

Karen has worked alongside with multiple talented photographers, creating amazing content for photo shoots and a short films. She also enjoys showing off her work on the runway in collaboration with the breathtaking work of talented fashion designers. Although she enjoys working alongside of other creatives, her favorite part of being a hair and makeup artist is getting to her regular clients to transform their hair into a piece of art and emphasize their natural beauty so they can go and conquer the day!
